After the congressman call I called the USCIS Customer service again. They have transferred me to that higher-level operator which had a waiting line more than an hour again so I scheduled the call-back.

Has awaited for me this morning in my car. I saw the papers and CDs thrown out of the glove compartment. First I thought that my husband was looking for something but then I realized that we left the car yesterday evening together and I was the one sitting at the passenger's place. Some cultural events
Finally it's time to write about our cultural life here. It's been almost 3 months since we've moved to San Francisco Bay Area but we've managed to visit 4 theater plays and 1 classical music concert. Not bad even in comparison with my Moscow life-style and definitely better than I've expected.

Generally almost doesn't affect. I've heard that the federal parks are closed, but in California there are a lot of State parks, so we had no problems even during our Sonoma week-end. I'm commuting to San Francisco these days 2-3 days a week for my "volunteering" activity. The tickets system works in the way that you cannot just buy several tickets for next trips, each one-time ticket you buy is only valid the same day. Once when I didn't now about that ( Read more... )
